Our building has even received the Green Key certificate, that is the brand of international volunteer ecologic quality, released from the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), more famous for the assignment of “Bandiere blu”.
The FEE, is pointed out as world leader for environment education and sustainable development, has given in 25 years of experience to 3000 hotels in 57 countries Green Key certificate, an international network always in progress. That recognize as ecological and promotion of their territory- oriented, in a sustainable key.
The aims of Salento Ada’s House B&B, regard the creation of ecomic, competitive and social results, they look at the reaching of common good, the concept of global responsability is centred upon the formative relationships among all the social members in the environmental respect.
All that means firstly a particular attention to a more sustainable management in the light of the items of Green Key, lightening, in a more effective way the own environmental imprint, on our planet and secondly decreasing the operating costs.
The high level of energetic efficiency, the optimum management of waste, the attention to wastes,the activity and collaboration with land associations towards poor communities,and last but not least ambitious projects in the near future,oriented towards continuous improvement of the building, make Salento Ada’s House deserve the brand Gree Key fully, thus growing the comparison, regarding environmental management, with the biggest international Hotel chains.
Dario Strazzullo and Antonella Candido’s efforts together with those of your team in the application of protocollo Green Key not only reward our building but also create in ourselves a genuine enthusiasm for virtual and contagious behaviours, safeguarding in that way our planet.
